The lessons and the majority of the concerts will take place at the Koper Music School (Gallusova 2, 6000 Koper) and Koper Elementary School (Cesta Zore Perello Godina 1, 6000 Koper). The two schools are a 5 minute walk apart from each other.

 

The opening concert will take place in the beautiful Besenghi Palace in Izola (Gregorčičeva ulica 76, 6310 Izola).

The towns of Izola and Koper are only a few miles apart and it is fairly easy and convenient to travel between them with the local transport system.

 

Traveling to Koper by plane:

We recommend flying to Aeroporto Friuli Venezia Giulia: Ronchi dei Legionari Airport (TRS) and ordering a transfer service from there to the Koper Main Train Station with the GoOpti transfer service. Prior to your departure we will ask you to submit us your travel itinerary and will be glad to help you with the booking process.

The other possibilities include the airports of Venice Marco Polo (VCE) in Italy and Letališče Jožeta Pučnika (LJU) in Slovenia. We advise again to book the transfer to Koper with the above mentioned service provider.

 

Traveling to Koper by train or bus:

The train schedule can be found on the Slovenske Železnice website and the bus schedule on the Ljubljana Train Station website. It is however wise to book your entire trip at the place of departure.

 

Traveling to Koper by car:

You can easily map out the route using Google Maps or any similar service. The country of Slovenia is very small and it will take you slightly over 3 hours to cross it diagonally. Motorways connect every region so you should have a pretty pleasant and brief trip till the destination once you enter Slovenia.
