The Izola Music School is located in the centre of Izola, a tiny town on the Slovenian coast.

 

Traveling to Izola by plane:

We recommend flying to Aeroporto Friuli Venezia Giulia: Ronchi dei Legionari Airport (TRS) and ordering a transfer service from there to the Izola Bus Station (or to the exact final destination for a minimal surcharge) with the GoOpti transfer service. Prior to your departure we will ask you to submit us your travel itinerary and will be glad to help you with the booking process.

The other possibilities include the airports of Venice Marco Polo (VCE) in Italy and Letališče Jožeta Pučnika (LJU) in Slovenia. We advise again to book the transfer to Izola with the above mentioned service provider. We do not have any contract with the company, it is however the most convenient service available.

 

Traveling to Izola by train or bus:

The train schedule can be found on the Slovenske Železnice website and the bus schedule on the Ljubljana Train Station website. It is however wise to book your entire trip at the place of departure.

 

Traveling to Izola by car:

You can easily map out the route using Google Maps or any similar service. The country of Slovenia is very small and it will take you slightly over 3 hours to cross it diagonally. Motorways connect every region so you should have a pretty pleasant and brief trip till the destination once you enter Slovenia. Be sure to check if parking is provided at your respective place of stay; you can park in the town for a nominal fee.
